June 14, 2012 – Dream: Many Mansions

In this dream, I found myself dressed in 1800’s style clothing and in the town of Walnut Grove.  I was Caroline Ingalls.  I had received a package at the Post and I opened it.  I took out a lovely book about Little House.  It was wonderful, I loved it so much.  But there was a surprise in the box…another book!

The second Book was packaged and covered in ashes.  My heart longed for this book, and I was so excited to read both books.

I heard the townspeople gathering and talking amongst themselves.  They were very impressed with the carpentry work that Charles had made on the new buildings in town.  I walked over to them and said, “Remember how excited he was to start building?  He kept inspecting everything, checking it for strength…”  I was very proud of Charles.  I was amazed at his handiwork.

I saw him approaching us.  I noticed he had his old fashioned wooden carpenter’s box hanging from his shoulder.  He was eating an apple and he had a HUGE smile on his face!

He came to me and said, “Hello!”   ツ

  1. The first book and the book covered in ashes represent the Orignal Covenant and the Final Covenant.  I thank God for answering my prayer to help me understand the true meaning of the Book of Ashes, because for a while I thought it might only be a reference to a poetry book by the same name.
  2. Charles and Caroline symbolically represent the Bridegroom and the Bride.
  3. The townspeople represent the holy angels and the saints who have gone before us to be with Jesus.

Scriptural Interpretation:

Joh 14:1-3  Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also.

P.S. This is the second dream I’ve had with Charles and Caroline as symbolic representations of Jesus and his Bride; this is also the second dream that references the Book of Ashes.    My tribute to Little House’s Charles and Caroline:
